"Great for our 3 night stay. The top floor apartment had everything we needed. Double bed. Sofa bed, bathroom with large shower, cooking facilities a terrace and a view between apartments of the marina. For drivers parking was right outside. For non drivers bus service every 30 minutes from La Spezia/Portovenere. Restaurants are so close. Host waa excellent phoning to make sure we weren’t lost on our arrival by bus and providing lots of details on how to get to places. "

"A great place to stay to get away from the crowds and enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Given that it is away from the city center, you will need to take taxis or rent a car to get to where you want to go. "This is a lovely little room, but it was missing a few things. It could use a small shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap, and a place to hang towels to dry. The bed only had two pillows, making it an uncomfortable place to watch tv. Some hooks or a coat rack would be nice, and there is no luggage rack. "The picture of “King” property is misleading as it depicts a grandiose view of several buildings on the park however, the entrance to this property was around the corner on a dismal street. The elevator was a total joke—-it didn’t stop on the 2nd or 3rd floor—-we had to schlep our luggage up one flight or down two! "We stayed in the Presidential Duplex and I can say it is even more beautiful than the pictures. The suite is immaculate with 2 full bathrooms and ensuite bath tub, which is massive. The views are beautiful and all the restaurants surrounding the hotel are delicious (we tried them all in our 4 days in La Spezia). "The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel was hard to find. I did not like the fact that we had to pay for parking. This was not disclosed and should be disclosed to customers. The breakfast was very cheap: a croissant, very small focaccia with cheese, 1 small cup of coffee, 1 bottle of water and a slim small half glass of juice. "The place lives up to its name of “luxurious room”. The room is recently renovated and is modern, clean and well provisioned, even with slippers. It is located near the cruise ship pier and has restaurants nearby. The host is extremely gracious and hospitable. He not only waited to welcome us well into the night but also drove us to the Castle when we could not find a taxi to go there. The interaction with him left us a wonderful memory for La Spezia."
