"The staff and the overall building were exceptional. The location is top notch. The room was actually very nice aside from the fact that the bathroom tile smelled like the streets of San Francisco. It smelled like pee and humans, essentially. I don't know if they ever clean the tile in the rooms. That and the lack of sound proof (I get it, it's an old bank) are really my only complaints or "points against" the experience. The gym was amazing. Best hotel gym I've ever used and I would highly recommend. The staff were truly exceptional. I just don't know why they'd let the room actually smell bad. As long as we kept the door closed it wasn't a massive problem but at least once I caught a whiff of lingering pee smell. Sort of disappointed for an otherwise very expensive room. I made sure to remove all the linens and pillow cases in an effort to save the next guest some time / comfort that the bedding was changed. Just sort of weird. If the bathroom didn't smell like pee it would have otherwise been a mostly wonderful, albeit expensive, hotel stay."

"Nice hotel and friendly staff, located within walking distance of many sights. The building has some history but has been renovated and modernized. All that remains is the old mail slot and the older exterior. The bed was very comfy, TV was large. The view from the window was of a brightly lit parking garage. I liked the dark wood throughout the hotel, the art on the walls, the water saving toilet and the sustainable bottles of lotion, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and conditioner The housekeeping staff was very attentive."

"The the parking setup was beyond ridiculous, and in all honesty it may not be the hotel's fault but it falls on the hotel call it we are the they I was charged for 2 days of parking when I only stayed one night the gentleman who picked up the vehicle to bring back was working by himself the system never notified myself and my daughter that our car was available. Then it impacted everyone myself the one person working by himself and everybody waiting for the car we were notified 30 to 40 minutes into our weight that they were finally retrieving the car when in reality it was waiting for us where we were supposed to come I am not going to wait in the rain if I'm been told that my vehicle is not yet available for pickup. I fully expect to be reimbursed at a bare minimum the extra day I was I was charged for my parking and this needs to be done I don't care who does it and in reality I want to be credited for the full thing because this was ridiculous. Also, in the end we realized when we were halfway home that he didn't give me all of my keys back there were two keys missing along with a keychain keepsake from my daughter that I can't replace I expect to be contacted by someone I don't care who it is and there needs to be something done to rectify the situation it was bad for everyone involved"

"The staff were incredibly friendly & very helpful when we got there & the valet were friendly & kind. Parking was $50, or $60 with valet. My partner needed wifi for work & theirs was incredibly spotty. The manager told us we could "upgrade to premium" if we wanted it to work better. We just wanted it to work in general, which it did not. Our room smelled very fresh & clean, which was nice. The restroom in our room had a frosted glass sliding door, which lead to very little privacy, along with no vent fan. The lighting wasn't very bright. I was disappointed to see that there wasn't complimentary coffee or tea in the morning. Coffee was $5 in the lobby. The pool water was warm & the air inside was also warm. The pool is pretty shallow though & there's no hot tub."

"Room was nice and clean very spacious and the breakfast was pretty good. Nice location to get around to restaurants and other areas !!"

"We stayed only one night but we were able to check in early. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the downtown area. Lots of restaurants and places to stop. The breakfast was good and gave many options."
