Friendly hotel

Friendly hotel a few blocks from Panong beach. Teo story building eith no elevator but staff assisted me to carry bag up stairs. Room was small, basically enough room to walk around the bed. Small bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Has a nice bar where guests can hangout at. Many people seemed to be repeat customers who knew the staff by name. Area is very busy, lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. Hotel is about 2 blocks from all the mayhem so very quiet.

Stayed at the expat recently and can't say a bad word about it. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of patong. Close enough to the nightlife that you can walk to it but is quiet so you can't hear any noise. The room met all our needs. The on site restaurant offers a good range of food and good prices. The on site bar offers a really good night out as there is always a mixture of guests and regulars to help you enjoy this. All staff were friendly and helpful. We were well looked after throughout our stay. I can't praise them enough. I do plan to return for a stay at the expat and recommend the hotel for anyone to stay in as there were solo travellers, couples and families there during my stay.

Extremely basic hotel, we had several rooms and all beds were very hard, the bathroom is tiny, shower isn’t separated so the whole floor gets wet when you shower, there are A LOT of older single men staying there. The location is good, it was pretty clean, the pool area was nice.
