Checked out early, bad smells

Smells sharply of smoke, clings to clothes No smoke alarm Very strong odor near bed frame Toilet base leaking with what looks like fecal matter on floor that I wiped up Noisy at night, with man pounding on door and shouting at 11:30pm, and more folks at 5am shouting Fireworks lit off from parking lot No Pool, it’s empty and crumbling No wifi connectivity from room

Super 8 apparently sold this property to Valley Inn. When I showed up, I was informed that they did not have my reservation, even though Expedia charged my card and sent me a confirmation email. Neither Super 8 nor Expedia informed me. Absolutely terrible and unacceptable communication.

Moved out of the room within 5 mins of walking in. Room was filthy - dead roaches, cigarette holes and blood stains in bed, bathroom was stinky. Asked the hotel and Expedia for a refund and they did. Do not book a room at this hotel!

It was basically transient housing. The room was superficially clean, but it was deep down filthy, and in disrepair. I was given one towel and one washcloth, the shower curtain holder was broken, no ice bucket, no cups... NEVER AGAIN!!!

It is an old hotel and they are trying to remodel. We could tell by open doors and workers. I left mgmt a note about some things we noticed. The beds were comfortable and clean. House keeper did best they could on that, but t room needs work, and especially bathroom. All business is handled through the night checking window. In old part of town, but they had security guard. It was sufficient for what we needed for the night but don't plan on going back. We cannot blame staff. We have stayed in much worse.

5 min walk east to be right I’m downtown I’d leave the light on in the bathroom all night so the roaches of every size would stay away

The property was in no condition to be rented. The vent cover in the bathroom was falling out. No towels, glasses in bathroom. lamp shades were falling off. no bath mat: were told to use one of the two towels they brought at our request for a mat. My husband said " we only have two towels and there are two of us. When we complained about terrible condition of the room, we were told that management was trying whether to keep the property or demolish the place, no tv remote. We didn't stay. Requested a refund!

There was nothing about this disgusting motel that I liked. Especially not the bugs, gross carpet, only one towel that was dirty, no blanket (just a dirty bedspread and sheet), phone in room did not work and neither did the light switch, and the shower did not drain. The only thing that was good was not having to pay for this one night stay that was supposed to be two nights but I still had to then pay double the price to find somewhere else to stay on short notice. Very disappointed in Expedia for even listing this as an option.

This place is terrible. They use the Wyndham name to lure you in. This place is a dump. The carpet is dirty. They have roaches here. .they lady at the front desk told me that the door sticks a little bit so have to shake the handle and she was right. When i booked the the room. Is was for two adults. But when i got here it was just one towel . no face rags or nothing.. We have sleep on top of the covers because we are worried that it might have bed bugs. I was mislead and i want my money back

Run away! RUN FAR RUN FAST and don't look back!

I'm sure in this hotel's Hay Day it was once a very nice motel. However, today this motel should be shut down, condemned, and burnt to the ground! During my three night stay at this property I have to say it was the worst experience ever! The rooms are infested with roaches, the carpeting was not only dirty but sticky as well! The bed didn't have a comforter or any blankets, the sheets were stained, the motel only provides one bathroom towel per room(which I had to ask to be replaced because it was of course stained and didn't even look like it had been washed), they're supposed to be non-smoking rooms and the rooms reek of cigarette smoke, and on my second night while I was re-making the bed I was stabbed in my hand by a dirty used hypodermic needle that was hidden between the mattress and the box spring me to bleed! And the icing on the cake??? I couldn't figure out why I couldn't stop itching from within an hour of being in the room was because I just discovered that I am covered over my entire body by what I realized are bed bug bites! The staff on the other hand, has been friendly and kind and have tried to be as accommodating as possible. However, upon being awoken in the middle of the night tonight and finding myself covered in bed bug bites I will be demanding a full refund for my entire stay when the manager arrives in the morning! I will also be contacting the Phoenix city health department to file a formal complaint as well. THIS MOTEL IS A HEALTH RISK!
