Although the front desk staff tried very hard to make the best out of a bad situation, I cannot in good faith put anything but a terrible review. We were warned we were in a bad neighbourhood upon check in at 12:30 am (our flight was delayed and we were late getting in) but I didn’t realize the bad neighbourhood was housed in this hotel. Many drug addicts wandering around, sounds of people hollering all night up until 6am when we finally left, helicopters circling the hotel until after 2 am, non stop sirens, non stop headboards banging and high heels clicking, dirt bikes being worked on and started to test out at 2am, and to top it all off plastic still on mattresses, not protective cover, straight up plastic (so mattress was new at least lol). We had two rooms booked and all hunkered down in one room pretty nervous and figuring we were safer inside than out. We decided to stay until first thing in the morning and then split. I’ve stayed at some pretty bad hotels and this one was by far the worst. How there is so many 10/10 reviews is beyond me. I was shocked at what I walked into.

I need to get a refund for the 2 nights that I was scheduled there. Because the room was so bad we couldn't stay there. The floor was completely sticky. The room stuck like cigarettes and a** there were cigarette Burns in the bed spreads, no cups, no towels, nothing! There were questionable people and what appeared to be gangs outside the motel, we felt threatened. We checked in, and we're only there long enough to find a room at a different motel.

Positives - Staff is very nice and accomodating, size of room is large, easy access to I17 and pricing. Negatives - Conditon of my room wasn't great (floors were dirty, door had hole in it, etc.), overnight noise disrupted sleep (3:30am someone above me was moving furniture and vacuuming), and some clientele is sketchy. Finally the general area surrounding the hotel is not great.

The room was ok, cleanliness wasn’t the greatest but the area and environment was the worst. I’ve never felt more unsafe in my life. Sketchy people in and out of the hotel all day long. Night time was the worst. I paid for 4 nights and only stood for 1. The pictures look great but once you’re there, it’s honestly the most sketchiest place ever. Expedia definitely got me with the pictures, making it look all good and nice and doesn’t specify the type of people staying. I’m glad to get out with my life.

Poor Neighborhood, after getting to the room there was no cups,icc bucket,no phone,no coffee pot,curtains didnt close and a light was directly shining in on the beds,people running past the room several times, shower floor felt like it was going to fall in.

I checked into room 201, I came down to the lobby around 5 pm to let the know the shower wasn't working nor the TV they basically brushed me off. And I couldn't shower or get comfortable. They didn't move me til almost 9 pm. It was a big inconvenience. And I was tired and dirty and wanted to shower. They didn't even think about accommodating me a free night. For this inconvenience. And I will be reporting this to the city of PHX. Because if my room didn't have water I'm pretty sure there is other rooms with the same issues.

I had a great experience staying at Stay 7 Studio on North Black Canyon Highway in Phoenix. From the moment I checked in, everything was smooth and stress-free. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful whenever I had a question or needed anything during my stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I really appreciated how quiet it was at night, which made it easy to relax and get good rest. The studio setup was practical and convenient, especially for a longer stay, and everything worked exactly as it should. Housekeeping kept the property in good shape, and common areas were consistently clean. The location is another big plus. Being right off the Black Canyon Highway made it easy to get around Phoenix, and there were plenty of nearby stores, restaurants, and essentials within a short drive. It felt like a safe and accessible area, which definitely matters when choosing a place to stay.

When I arrived to the hotel the owner was calling the staff at the desk and telling them to delete reservations. When I got to my room the toilet did not flush, there was no hot water in the shower, and the bathroom countertop was falling off the wall, and there was no tv remote. After talking to the front desk, the toilet and shower were fixed, a remote was brought, and a temporary fix for the counter was put in. It had four walls and a door that locked

We couldn’t stay. The property felt very unsafe. The employees we dealt with were very nice and helpful, but they had been asked by management to cancel our pre-paid reservation before we arrived. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke, with cigarette burns on the bedspread. Illegal activities were happening in stairwells and parking lot. It was horrible and should not be offered by Expedia. It was nothing like it appears online.

Filthy, unsafe, supposedly it was nonsmoking and no pets but smoking and pets barking, no hot water, tv didn’t work, people fighting and very loud. Bed was hard and had plastic on mattress so it was noise. Very disappointing nasty place

There aremany sketchy people in and around this hotel.the people in the room next to us never went sleep.....of course around 3am a physical altercation that sounded like a brawl.but the whole place seemed so sketchy we just hunkered down quikly went to our car in the mornimg and left.i did mention to the attendant at the desk what happened and he acted really shocked,which seemed dishonest due to the sketchy people evrywhere in and putside of the hotel.

Kinda looks like a bullet that didn't fully penetrate
