We got this place for around $40, which was a good deal. Beach was cleaned every morning, clean rooms, tasty meals. Breakfasts were ok but not 4* as well as the pool, nice, children friendly but not 4*. It is far from the city. If you like a quiet place out of reach of bars, clubs and restaurants, it will be the place for you. Also, $70+ you will find a better quality 4* hotel...

Hotellet har varit idylliskt för 20 år sen. Generellt äldre möbler, badrummet väldigt slitet. När vi anlände var morgonrockarna smutsiga och fick be om att få de ombytta. Kräver att få pass som depositum. Bra pool med fin utsikt till havet. Frukost okej men restaurangen var öppen utan AC.. Ligger ca 40 min från Mui Ne, ligger avsides så om man ska ha restauranger og caféer skal man till Phan tiet som ligger 14 km bort.. gullig personal men pratade väldigt dålig engelska.

Очень понравилось. Релакс. Развлекухи нет. Через дорогу множество кафе по приемлемым ценам, можно там поужинать. На ресепшн есть русскоговорящая женщина Марина, к ней можно обратиться. Остальной персонал говорит только на местном, английский совсем никак. В номере есть зонты на случай дождя. Есть полотенца для пляжа. На территории можно сделать массаж, общий меньше 10 долларов. Завтрак шикарный, огромный выбор. И рыба, и мясо, и овощи, и рис. И разная нарезка и тд.

Классная турбаза "медуза"

Очень хороший отель для семейного спокойного отдыха - где можно полностью отключиться от ритма суеты современных мегаполисов - на мой взгляд- идеальное место побыть с родными вместе и просто раствориться в красоте природы вьетнама - да придраться можно ко многому но персонал стараеться и это видно - хоть иногда и хочеться их погонять чтоб неленились

A wonderful hotel. We felt so welcomed and the special service was tear jerking. Good breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Mostly peaceful, friendly Russian at this hotel . It was a great experience. Quiet and a awesome pool..

Ett helt ok ställe om man är inställd på ingen engelska, massa ryssar ( rysk charter tour område), strand kan vara smutsigt då tidsvattnet tar in på stranden....men hotellets personal städar stranden så gott så möjligt. Blåser en hel del men det är rätt skönt. Poolen är annat allternativ helt ok....Vietnam är under utveckling så man ska inte förvänta total lyx... resturang grill inget speciellt och betydligt dyrare än i bambo restaurangerna i närheten som är goda och mycket billiga. Phan thiet Smog åk inte ditt... sandynor ok.... Frukosten ok speciellt omeletten, frukt, yoghurt...allt annat mindre intressant. I hel het allt ok för att slappa av under parasol och god mat i närheten ( finns ödlor överallt men ej farliga) så stäng dörrarna till rummet. Dom är inte så lätta få ut ur rummet. Service ok, massage billig i närheten

Do you speak Russian?

Hotel desperately needs western management guidance in every aspect. Breakfast is ok if you can eat cold cuts or mayonnaise besed sauces which are standing on the table for hours with out any cooling. The main line from front desk is "you pay!", probaply their intensions are not to be unpolite but since english is not very good it sounds so. Water bottles are funny, some are complimentary and some are not, in normal hotel they would have "complimentary"-tag. Do not try to get a receipt after your stay "payed by a voucher" because you wont get it! Hotel has potential and local restaurants on the other side of the street make it easy to have dinners outside the hotel allthough one of the restaurants is some how ran by the hotel staff..

Хороший отель для спокойного отдыха

Нормальная четверка, для любителей спокойного отдыха. Большая ухоженная территория, мебель в номерах и сами номера в хорошем состоянии, хороший пляж (по крайней мере, его чистят). Очень приличные разнообразные завтраки, неплохой бассейн. Дружелюбный персонал. Из недостатков - проблемы со свободными лежаками (особенно у моря), приходилось рано вставать, чтобы занять место. Засилье насекомых (мелкие муравьи) в номере. Дезинсекция проводилась, но не помогала. Не понравилась уборка номера - пыль не вытиралась, не всегда пополнялись бесплатные туалетные принадлежности, приходилось отлавливать персонал и просить, чтобы положили. В целом - отель рекомендуем.

Good for relaxation

Very quiet location, only one shop, one restaurant nearby. Beautiful Resort and Spa, nice staff, full buffet breakfast a lot choice. Nice pool, no hot tub, private beach, warm water but not really clean on Summer season.(They say: Fall will be better). Good price if you book online.

Relaxen pur!

Wir sind in Saigon gelandet, haben da eine Nacht verbracht und sind am naechsten Morgen mit dem Zug nach Phan Thiet gefahren. Das Hotel liegt wirklich weit weg vom Trubel und ist sehr ruhig. Der Strand ist zwar schoen und gut ausgestattet mit Liegen usw., das Meer ist aber nicht so klar und teilweise stark verschmutzt. So sieht es aber am ganzen Kuestenabschnitt aus. Auch am Pool gibt es genuegend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Alles ist sehr sauber. Fruehstueck ist sehr gut! Die Anlage wird 24 Stunden ueberwacht und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. English ist ein Problem fuer das Personal....sind mehr auf Russische Urlauber ausgerichtet. Wir haben es aber mit Humor genossen und letztendlich klappt dann auch die Verstaendigung. Es waren auch Russische Gaeste anwesend, aber total ruhig und unproblematisch, viele auch mit Kinder. Weniger ruhig waren da die Vietnamesische Gaeste....teilweise sehr laut und asozial.

Nice hotel in a remote but slightly dirty location

We (couple) had a very relaxed and mostly nice time at the hotel and its beach. I would recommend the hotel but there are some downsides and some suggestions for the hotel as well. One downside is the remote location of the hotel and that the restaurants that are available in the small town are pretty bad. The hotel offers a shuttle service but I would suggest to make this shuttle service cheaper or for free to reach Phan Thiet easier (because there are better restaurants and some distractions) and to offer one way trips as well, not only two way (like this guests are more flexible). The breakfast was average; it was much better over Vietnamese Lunar New Year, probably due to the higher number of guests but I would have liked to have a bit better food also before (sweeter fruits for example). The beach of the hotel was cleaned regularly but the water unfortunately was pretty dirty sometimes. The rooms were nice and the balconies with the view to the garden were very nice and quiet. The other guests were calm as well, many families, couples, etc. The hotel could also (together with the other hotels in town maybe) keep the town and the beach outside of town cleaner. There was a lot of trash which definitely makes it much less attractive. For a remote location I would expect the nature surrounding the hotel to be more clean.

주위에 식사 할곳이 30분정도 차량으로 이동 하는것이 문제이나 대체로 시설은 무난 한 편이었고, 단 베란다 문을 열고 바다바람을 맞이 할때 방충망이 없는게 좀 불편 했습니다..벌들이 많아 꼭 필요한 방충망~~~모기,,,등등 그런대로 편안하고 조용하게 가족 여행 좋겠습니다..

I can recommend the hotel. The staff was friendly and hotel nice. The restaurant was okay, but the price quite high compared to the regular price in VN. For example a bowl of Pho costs 100 000 dong. A club sandwich 150 000. The location is unfortunately quite away from the city, but perfect for the ones that like a calm enviroment. Not much things to do around except to bath and eat. Apparently this hotel use to have lots of Russian guest, but when we were there they were not much of them.

Far from evreything

Local busses stops in front of the hotell. To Phan thieth center costs 9000 vnd with buss nr.6. From there you can get to Muinei with buss nr 1 or 9 and it costs 13000vnd. In case you take a taksi it costs aboult 10 times that. Take a business card from reseption of your hotel location and show it in the buss to the cassier, she will stop the buss in right place. In case you whant to purchase train tickets throug hotel reseption, be careful, it dont include taxi to railway station even that they promises that. Brekfast was very good. The beach in front of the hotel was cleaned but a little walk futher one coud see garbitch like needles. Rooms in hotell was big and nice. Hotel was quiet. Many Russian turists but they were execptionally quiet. Near the hotell there is only 2 shops that you can buy wather there is nothing else to buy. 4 restaurants + hotells own.

don't go HB with a 2-year-old child

We did not like the fact that this hotel is not generous enough to provide dinner for our little son. We had a set menu and he had to eat from our small portions. This is not fair. While there is a buffet breakfast (which is frankly marvellous, really wide selection of fruit) and everyone could eat as much as possible... why can't it be the same with dinner? Beside this inconvenience this hotel is really nice with beautiful garden and nice place for sunbathing right at the beach. Sometimes Russians make too much noise when celebrating - but you can get used to that. There is a shuttle bus that takes guests to Phan Thiet for 45 000 dong return, or you can rent a motorbike from the shop opposite the hotel for 10$ 24/h.

Nice hotel for quiet getaway

We stayed in one of the bungalows which was great, easy access to the beach and good bathroom. The TV channels weren't that great but that's an incentive to go to the beach. Wifi coverage was limited, we found it only near the main reception/restaurant area. The beach itself was nice, although it was a little rough due to the time of year (Feb) - we still swam though. And the pool is great. I'd recommend this hotel if you want to get away to a quiet spot for a few days, just keep in mind it's a long way from the 'action' of Mui Ne. We went to Mui Ne for the day by catching the Resort shuttle bus, and then number 1 or 9 public bus from Phan Thiet, of course you can just take a taxi but that may be $20 each way. There are 3 local places to eat on the other side of the street from the Resort. Breakfast at the Resort is great!

Bra hotell 25 km från Mui Ne

Resorten är jättebra, med fantastisk frukostbuffé!! Rummen stora och fina med härlig balkong. Bra solstolar både vid egen fin pool och vid havet. Det som saknas är bra middagsmat, finns ett fåtal ställen utöver hotellets egna matsal. Passa på att åka in till Mui Ne med shutteln vid tillfälle.

Erinomainen paikka rentoutumiseen

Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällinen. Hotellialue hyvin hoidettu, kaunis. Huoneet siistit ja hyvä tasoiset (superior). Alue ei vielä turismin pilaama, alueella vain muutama hotelli. Hiekkarantaa kilometrikaupalla, ranta aika matala, tosin merenkäynti voi olla voimakas. Täydellinen paikka lepäämiseen.

good hotel, so-so location

The rooms were very nice. Big, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly, but communication was pretty basic. The beach was picked up in front of the hotel, but not on either side where it was very trashy, including two hypodermic needles. The trash soon migrated over the hotel beach. Strong afternoon winds brought high surf. It wasn't very swimmable, and the water was murky all the time. (our visit was Jan 31 - Feb 04). Phan Thiết is about 190 km east of HCMC Bến xe Miền Đông bus station - about 4.5 hours with a 20 min break. The hotel is about 15 km south. Take a taxi for about 120,000 VND. Have a printed copy of the name and address, preferably with Vietnamese diacriticals. English isn't so common as in HCMC. There is a local bus that that we didn't try.

Very Nice Resort

Beautiful location on the beach near Phan Thiet City. The hotel runs a shuttle back and forth that is very convenient. Our king-size bed was huge and the room was very clean and everything was in perfect working order. Lovely shower and the balcony was very comfortable. The hotel pool was very nice and the hotel restaurant was pretty good and has a great breakfast buffet. The resort is perfectly maintained and quite lovely. Only three things I didn't like: 1. The second night we were there they were hosting some party for Vietnam Petroleum that used the whole pool area and kept us from swimming. They also played music that was so ridiculously loud our waitress couldn't hear us order and it was even obnoxious in our room quite far away (and I'm young). This was probably a one-time thing and it only lasted from 6-9 or so. 2. The ocean wasn't very clean (some sort of algae or something) and smelled kind of bad. Also, fishing boats frequently came into the swimming area, which is pretty dangerous if you think about it. It was kind of interesting to see what they were catching though. 3. The hotel staff's English is pretty limited. We asked for help about train or bus tickets and they could only tell us "one in the morning, one in the afternoon" so we ended up sitting at a bus station for 4 hours. Still, the shuttle bus driver took us to the station (past his destination), and I'd say overall the staff and resort were lovely.

perffect place for relaxing

everything else is perfect but the location of the hotel is bit far away from anything else. room price including shuttle bus helps for that matter and takes to phan thiet downtown in about 15 minutes. private beach is nice except the jellyfishes which we saw lieing on the beach in the evening during the tide. that was bit scary since there where tens of those fishes awashed from the ocean to the beach.
