"Very disappointing experience at Riad Samir Privilege Boutique & Spa. I want to make it clear that the front desk staff during check-in were not the issue — the problem was management and the lack of communication and professionalism. I confirmed early check-in multiple times before arriving, including a week before, two days before, and again the day of arrival. Despite this, nothing was communicated properly, which caused my friends and I to spend hours trying to locate the riad late at night after our flight while receiving little to no response from management. It was an extremely stressful start to our trip. The rooms were much smaller than advertised in the photos and had an unpleasant smell. Food service was also very slow, with dishes taking a long time to arrive. Another disappointing part was the excursion recommendations through the riad. We later found much better options elsewhere in Marrakech, and after declining the riad’s excursions, the atmosphere toward us became noticeably colder and less welcoming. Management also acknowledged the issues we experienced and mentioned compensation would be provided, but this never happened and follow-up messages were ignored afterward. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set online. There are many other riads in Marrakech with better communication, hospitality, and overall service. I would recommend looking at other options before booking here."

"Clean and tidy hotel. Exceptional service. Great location 5-10 minute walk to Jemaa El Fna. Breakfast was great with local and worldwide dishes. The spa was also top notch, highly recommend their Hammam treatment. "

"We had a great stay at Riad Karmela and we were impressed how warm and helpful the staff are. Mohamed and Amine were especially helpful to us with arranging transportation and making sure we get to our destinations on time and safely. The breakfast was amazing and there were lots of options with fresh fruits and vegetables. Our room was spacious and clean. We highly recommend this hotel and good location in the medina. "

"Honestly couldn’t be more pleased with my visit. The most amazing hospitality, service, room, amenities, breakfast and more. Great property to spend your visit highly recommended would for sure come back. Note it’s a bit on the further side of the square (25 mins) but still a pleasant walk with lots of great shops and restaurants near by. "

"For a city hotel this is quality. Roof top pool, restaurant amazing. I would of given 5stars but the bed and pillows far to hard and mattress topper needs to be thicker as my double bed was two singles pushed together. What is 5 stars are the staff all of them are so genuine. Special shout out goes to Samir keept bumping into him all over the hotel, so helpful and with a big smile on his face. "

"A fantastic stay - we stayed for one night then went on a 3day desert tour and then came back to 2 nights. The hotel kindly looked after our bags and were a great support. We had a challenge on day 1 as another hotel told us they were our driver and took us to the wrong place but Riad dar lalla were amazing, came and got us and walked us safely to the right place. They even offered to have dinner made for us on an evening!"
