I was in Penticton for a workshop and needed a safe comfy place for one night, Valley Star provided this and more. I prefer a single level older style motel where you can park outside your door. The grounds were neat and clean, my room had a small patio, table & 2 chairs, fridge with freezer, microwave and a 2 burner cooktop with sink and sufficient cookware, small appliances, dishes and utensils for 1 or 2 people to easily stay several days. I arrived a little later than expected, reception was very friendly and helpful, taking me to the room. Highly recommended, a very good motel and is a very short walk to Skaha Lake beach. This will be my lodging of choice when in Penticton.

The staff reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and quiet. We were given a referral to a very good restaurant. A very pleasant stay. If we need a room in Penticton again, this is where we will go.

Great place to stay, very clean. The owner checked us in, then walked us to our room. Showed us how to work the remote, asked if we needed anything. I loved that, so friendly. We will definitely stay here again

A solid 3 star motel.
I was looking for a comfortable king bed sleep at an affordable price. Found it here. Its not luxsurious digs but its clean with friendly service. A small kitchenette was in the room. Small room. You get what you pay for here, value for money.

The host was a very nice man. He probably took us to our room and showed us around. I thought that was such a nice thing to do. Everything was very clean and quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!!

I was hesitant to stay in a "motel" but I was pleasantly surprised! It was very clean, quiet and safe. The staff was very friendly! I had been on the road for 3 weeks and the bed and comfort of this room was one of the best. Great location. 10/10 would stay again! Thank you.

Beach Motel Heaven
Great Hosts, clean comfortable beds, a nice little pool, close to the beach (skaha) its nice and cool too. some rooms have fridges and kitchens. Good parking too! Its was an awesome time. Very great three nights!

The lady that registered us actually walked us to our room, made a suggestion as to we’re to eat in the morning, which was very good. It is an older property however it appears updates have been made, the bed was comfortable. Would definitely consider staying again.

I enjoyed my stay! Really felt more like a basic chain hotel than a motel (ie I felt more comfortable here than a typical motel stay). And it was very quiet!

This is a small quiet motel 5 mins from Skaha lake. The customer service just was lovely! The room was simple and well cleaned with comfortable beds and fresh linens. The pool was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again for sure! Good value and very friendly staff.

This property is so charming and welcoming. Beautifully maintained. Bed has a good quality mattress. The only thing we found difficult was the 5 AM sun coming through the curtains. Really did not sleep well after that. Blinds would be an excellent addition.

It was sparkling clean and contained not just a fridge but a freezer of fairly good size (I'm used to business hotels where you can only fit your leftovers if you tilt them!) Very good value for money.
