"We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Kettle Valley Beach Resort. Unfortunately, the property was nothing like it appeared in the online photos. "Older hotel, but staff is really trying to make it hip. Had free ice cream one night, and a free barbecue to celebrate Canada Day. Great location. Our room was surprisingly larger than expected."

"The room was very spacious and clean. One small note the sink was quite dirty and we had to clean it. But it was nice to have a full size fridge and be on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. The location is very close to the main strip. I would stay here again"

"I liked that we were able to rent a small suite so that my son had his own bedroom and bathroom. And we enjoyed using the swimming pool which seemed well maintained. There were plumbing issues with our room the bath tub did not drain when my son had a shower and the toilet was not working properly. "The motel was just across the lake where the water park is. The location was the most attractive point of our stay! The cleanliness is not the strongest feature of the motel, but there was a kitchen and where to sleep, so we didn’t care much for the room itself. Overall, we liked our trip and we will come back again!"

"The bedrooms depicted in the online photos do not match the actual rooms. The rooms appear to be inadequately cleaned, and some doors are missing or do not close correctly. The place struck us as unsafe, and the rooms on the ground floor didn't have locks on the windows. We ended up just packing our bags and leaving to find somewhere else to stay for the night. Losing the cost of the room was a minor trade off. I would not suggest this establishment to anyone."

"Excellent location right across the beach from Skaha Lake. Having a kitchen was extremely helpful for our family so we didn’t need to eat out every night. Staff were kind and eager to help- one of our teenagers broke a glass when we were out for the evening, and a staff member came immediately to vacuum and clean up the glass, which we were so thankful for."

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely compound and cannot recommend it enough.The outdoor pool area is fantastic—large, crystal clean, fully fenced for safety, and surrounded by a beautiful patio that is perfect for relaxing.
