"Lovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked ‘Deluxe’ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. "

"The room was very comfortable, clean and had wonderful views of the mountains. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was just superb. Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. "Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. "
"Sited in the Beacons in its own grounds, location is just idilic.
Plenty of parking with easy access and a warm, friendly welcome on entering reception you do feel like you are privileged just being there.
Rooms are large, well appointed and clean.
Arriving just after lunch we had a very generous and delicious bar meal and drinks to tide us over to the evening meal booked.
Pool and spa facilities are again spotlessly clean, with free towels and robes for residents.
