"Our stay at Octant Douro was easily the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We absolutely loved the hotel’s tranquil and picturesque setting along the Douro River. Our room overlooked the river, and we often found ourselves sitting in silence, simply taking in the breathtaking scenery and peaceful surroundings. The pool facilities were beautifully maintained and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The restaurants were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious...

"Clean room and close to the airport"

"We love the location as it was walkable from the Porto airport, and there was a paid shuttle service back to the airport."

"This hotel is in a fabulous location in Porto within easy walking distance of Bolhao Market, the main shopping area, the tour departure point. There are restaurants and bars all around. The room was immaculately cleaned and very modern. Serviced daily. Tea and coffee making facilities were well used! Loved the free water in the fridge daily. The staff were great. Very accommodating when we arrived super early, allowing us to change and leave our bags safely. Food and coffee shop was also great....

"I liked the free shuttle service. Nice electric vehicle. I like the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I liked the lobby bar. Nice small place to recharge. The shower head was very hard to switch from main shower hear to secondary hand held. I quit trying and told the office but they could not help."

"Fantastic reception service"

"Very nice hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. Everyone was friendly, nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit far from tourist areas but walkable. Great amenities, coffee maker, coffee pods (decaf too), tea, water bottles, beers, coke, anything in the mini fridge! Great breakfast too. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt like staying at home. Worth every penny."

"The hotel was lovely the restaurant was excellent but it didn’t have tissues for your nose and no slippers or robe. It also was too far from downtown"
