Back up you would hit the gate(bar) that is down, one of the workers used key to lift. He was the one that said we would hit the gate, it’s a bit crammed, other then that love the room."

Having the Rideau Centre shopping mall attached was very convenient.
Valet parking made arriving and leaving throughout our stay very easy.

"Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable - clean and tidy, modern finishes, full fridge was a bonus, temperature was easy to control and manage. Lots of sunlight during the day (heavy curtains blocked it out when needed though). The cafe attached to the hotel was nice, very convenient for breakfast and lunch. "Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The ambience and charm combined with the age and the upkeep make this a truly special hotel. Right near the Byward Market and the parliament buildings. Lots of restaurants to choose from. "
