"It was a good place to stay for a night. The front office lady was very warm and helpful. The room was cute. The continental breakfast was good. Muffins, yogurt, coffee, bananas. Simply but yummy. The outside of the building and the interior is a bit rough, but the room itself was very clean."

They took the time to explain the tourist areas around the hotel and recommended some of the best places to check out, which we really appreciated. Parking is very limited, so that is something to keep in mind. Our room was clean and set up nicely. Just be prepared to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as those are not provided. Unfortunately, the AC in our first room did not seem to be working. After a few hours, the room...

"A very nice older style hotel in the heart of Nelson. Great location for amenities. Nice shops everywhere. There is not on site parking- but a city parkade next door. Street parking is free from 5 pm to 9 am and it was available. There is a loading area parking at the hotel side door which was handy. The pub food was very tasty with a good menu."
