"Super kind people running the hotel. Basic, clean rooms with comfortable beds and good airco. Beautiful location for watching the sunset. We liked it a lot. We didn't use the pool as we weren't prepared for the pool dresscode, but it was fine. Very relaxed atmosphere and many cats around (which we liked). Would definitely recommend the place."

"The Langkawi Baron represents good value for money in an excellent location. The rooms are spacious but rather sparsely furnished, and the ensuite bathroom has the typical Malaysian shower by the door which makes the floor wet for those requiring the sink or toilet. The breakfast is Malaysian Muslim and most will prefer to go to one of the excellent inexpensive alternatives outside. There is a good street market right outside on Wed & Sat evenings.
