"I didnt have a pet but i wouldnt keep my dog there. They said the airport shuttle would take an hour so i opted for uber. Uber line was 45mins without moving so i got a taxi which charged $60aus. So i shouldve taken the shuttle"

"Staff were not well trained. They listened to our concerns but did not take any action, so we had to repeatedly follow up about the same issues. For example, the shower was reported as broken the night before, but it was still not fixed, and we had to ask again the next day. In addition, the fire alarm went off at 4 a.m. on two consecutive nights. On the morning of our flight (4:30 a.m.), we were in the shower when the fire alarm went off again. We had to rush out, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress while we were trying to leave for the airport. Overall, the hotel needs better staff training and faster response to maintenance problems."

"Check in is supposed to be 2pm…one receptionist and about 10 people waiting to check in - took about 50 mins before we got into our room. Need more reception staff during busy check in times. The room was nice and clean, the balcony was nice but the surrounding area feels unsafe. We seen a restaurant employees moped get smashed to the ground in a drive by attack at 1am, a group of teenagers with balaclavas tried to storm the dan Murphy’s below…be careful at night it’s not a safe area."

"Clean and lovely room. Pillows were great, unfortunately bed was very low and hard mattress. Staff at the front desk was very welcoming and explained in detail all directions to a tee. Thank you, Irene Emans"
