"We knew this would be a no- frills place with a shared washroom and communal kitchen. However, I did expect to have a reasonably warm shower and electricity. We had neither. They only put on the generator intermittently (are we in a war zone?). Nice young girl greets us, but otherwise no staff seen. She mostly seems to sit on the porch on her phone. Place feels abandoned. So to be fair- pros: beautiful setting, close to Yo-Ho, cool old building, with LOTS of potential, bed reasonably...

"The cabin was exactly what I expected, firewood was provided for our nightly marshmallow roast, bedding was clean and adequate. We have already booked for a trip back."

"When we arrived Lisa was there to greet us with a smile and treated us so well, she walked us around the lodge and told us about the history of the building. It was so clean and the views were amazing. Very nice breakfast in the morning and there was a fridge to keep our meals in as well. The homemade banana bread was delicious made by Lisa of course ☺️ I highly recommend staying at this lodge, clean rooms very welcoming and a feeling of home away from home. Thank you again Lisa for making us...

"It was nice to have a private beach but it was packed so we went to the public beach. The room itself was very nice except for the noisy ac unit that was held in place by duct tape. Having to do the dishes and remove all the garbage...at the price we paid .... We had a balcony but it overlooked the parking lot so make sure when you book to ask for over the lake. The TV is so high up it actually gave me a headache bending that far"

"Great home base for exploring Yoho NP. Quaint atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast included. Great restaurant next door for dinners. Walk to gondola. Kim and Izzy were delightful hosts. Can’t go wrong staying here. Super clean and quiet room."
