"The hotel is good value and in an excellent location in the centre of town. Killarney is a vibrant town with lots of bars and restaurants, the town feels upbeat. While not amazing the room and breakfast was perfectly good. For me as a solo motorcycle the part covered car park was perfectly for weather and security. There is limited parking spaces and when I arrived the car park was full but they were very happy to allow a motorcycle to just squeeze in and could accommodate several bikes this way. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were super friendly. I’d stay here again."

"I absolutely love The Lake Hotel. My daughter lives in Skibbereen, Ireland and this was my first visit to Killarney. She highly recommended it and I am so glad she did. This will become a new tradition of ours to stay a few nights at the Lake Hotel for our little mom and daughter getaway! The staff was amazing. The breakfast was exceptional. The lakeview deluxe room was beautiful. The views are incredible and I found peace every evening sitting outside listening to the sounds of nature. Just lovely."

"Stunning hotel in superb waterside location. Only stayed 1 night sadly. One of the comfiest beds Ive ever slept on. Very nicely furnished bedrooms. Everywhere spotless. Lovely evening meal in Dolittle restaurant. My visit coincided with very hot weather - beautiful electric blue skies and a sublime view. Fan in room. Didnt visit the pool or spa but from above the infinity pool looked lovely (if relatively small). There are a few short trails you can do around the hotel. Staff were friendly, including Joao who checked me in. No faults at all - this very much falls into the 'treat yourself' category cost wise but I shall definitely return."

"We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers and were a bit nervous about staying over a popular pub. It turned out to be the absolute decision we could have made. We had a room with a double bed and two twins, which was perfect for our family. The pub isn't so loud that it bothers you while you are in your room - the only thing we had was a bit of street noice, but that's par for the course. The food in the pub is great too! The center location couldn't have been better - there is street parking and we never had trouble finding a spot."

"Visited with friends and had a good stay. The rooms and restaurant were of a high standard. Check in was via App although as I was remote from networks at times it was a bit complex. In room breakfast was good but I would have preferred a cooked Irish. The Restaurant could not take credit cards on the night due to equipment failure so had to pay the next day. Businesses should have back up options available .... spent half an hour standing around while a workaround approach was agreed."
