"Great location, convenient parking, comfortable room. We had an ocean view room on the "street" side and it was quiet and clean with an unobstructed view. Made coffee in the room in the morning. They did offer a small breakfast which was nice. In the evening we wanted to watch television...something normal like CNN and there were no local channels, no internet tv, no connection, a lot of buffering. We called the front desk but nothing seemed to work. It was a new "provider" and it was woefully insufficient. Otherwise, it was a nice property and convenient for our road trip. After the sun went down I was glad I had a book to read."

"The room was clean and spacious. Was a little disappointed to be so far from the beach, but was about a 15 minute walk to the pier and to grab some dinner. Parking was available and close. Would request a first floor room next time as it was difficult carrying a suitcase up the stairs. "

"We really liked our room, we were in the 3rd bldg, 1st floor with a patio and (partial) view of the ocean. The property was small enough and enough parking for everyone. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, staff was cheerful. Best parts were wine tasting next door (Katie(?) our hostess was a delight) and inn was just across the street from the Moonstone beach boardwalk. Only problem really was the overhead fan in our room which seemed to intermittently make a ticking noise when on. Other than that, yes, loved our stay and will definitely stay there again."

"We were not informed that none of the room have AC or a regular AC fan. We had to call the desk to find out there is no AC. All they had was portable floor fan that was extremely noisy. We could not use it and the room was hot all night. "

"Silver Surf Motel was okay for a short stay, but a bit underwhelming overall. My room appeared to have been recently renovated, and the décor and finishes were tasteful. I was disappointed, however, that the room did not have a tub. The mattress was also softer than I prefer, and I woke up with a minor backache. The property itself could really use some updating. Outside areas looked neglected and dated, and the walls were paper-thin — I could easily hear noise from neighboring rooms and people walking along the catwalk. Being near the water is definitely a plus, but unfortunately, it didn’t fully make up for the property’s shortcomings."
