We were on the 13th floor out of 15 stories. At 04:30 there was a loud 'beep' as someone attempted to get into the room. Once awakened, it was difficult to sleep again.

Se escucha todo en las habitaciones , perros ladrando peleandose, la gente que ronca en otras habitaciones, yo hice una reservacion y dijeron frente a mis amigos que la tarjeta no habia pasado por que no querian cobrar con american express , a mis amigos les pusieron una pulsera que no nos pusieron a nosotros , en fin, no me volveria a hospedar ahi.

COULD be a paradise by the lake but….
This hotel is in a prime location on the lakeside. It’s also in easy walking distance of Panajachel with good restaurants. The staff make this place and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The gardens are well kept and the restaurant food was fair value. However…. Unfortunately the room looked like a motel pull in. We could have been anywhere. The decor was retro 60s not colourful Guatemala. The room was large but the bathroom not well appointed. A tiny sink, tired and hanging on the wall for its life and toilet which didn’t flush properly were not what we expected for the money paid. There wasn’t even a shelf to put a tooth brush. Just not thought through. The restaurant is a huge room, brightly lit with no ambiance. After a meal or drink, there is no where to go of an evening to relax and chat. Subtle lighting and some sofas and easy chairs in part of the restaurant would have been comfortable and kept us in the hotel bar longer. This hotel needs some TLC, maintenance and thought regarding guest comfort. Not value for money or what was anticipated.

The property has poor cleanliness in the room and bathrooms. The bathroom sink was shaking.. no hot water ... Showers don't work properly. They didn't give me a tour of the property and inform me of their sauna timings and other facilities. When I asked them about it they said its something they don't inform guests unless asked.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. The views toward the lake were incredible. An enjoyable visit.

El Hotel tiene una buena ubicación. Lastimosamente es super ruidoso porque hay grupos grandes. Mi reserva era para 2 adultos y mi bebé, pero no pusieron 1 de las toallas de baño, y la tuve que solicitar hasta 5 veces hasta que en la noche me la dieron. El restaurante es muy mala la comida no sabe a nada. No recogen los platos a tiempo, lo que hace que pajaros entran a picotear comida en las mesas. La piscina no es como se ve en las fotos, y esta muy descuidada el area. Al hacer el check in pagamos el adicional para desayuno, pero la persona encargada no lo anotó y me lo intentaron cobrar de nuevo al dia siguiente. En general el personal es muy amable lastima porque tiene mayor potencial. No creo que regresaría si consigo otra opción.

Wonderful experience. The food is great and priced moderately. The staff is attentive and very inviting. The rooms are spacious and they accommodate every guest. I had 6 guests with two rooms and they made sure that all my guests had a bed. Overall, I loved the stay and will be staying here again.

Quaint hotel conveniently located at the edge of the lake and next door to the port where you can rent boats to visit other towns by the lake. It was fine all around but the pictures on Expedia are better that the actual property which is somewhat run down

Amazing location for a long weekend stay. Nice location next to a small part of the beach which is in front of an amazing view of Atitlan. Has a great restaurant on the location so you can go dine in. Very close to stores and restaurants in the area.

Desafortunadamente solamente la ubicación fue lo único que me gustó. Las instalaciones no cuentan con pasa manos en las escaleras viajé con una persona mayor y en dos ocasiones se escapó de caer. Tuve q ir a pedir yo misma jabón a la recepción Para poderme bañar, esperar 10 minutos para q la ducha se destupiera de agua. Quise ordenar servicio del restaurante a la habitación y todavía sigo esperando que envíen a alguien para tomar la orden ya q la habitación no cuenta ni con teléfono.. nada q ver con lo q aparece en la página, en ningún momento recomiendo este hotel, muy mal servicio 😡

The staff was nice at check in. The rooms are very outdated and it feels much more like a motel needing updates than a hotel. There is also a lot of noise in the rooms as people pass by the windows. I just got an overall bad feeling when checking in and we left for another hotel after seeing the rooms.
