We had a mostly wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the decor tasteful and modern. The brunch buffet was excellent — plenty of choice and fresh ingredients. Cocktails at the bar were another standout, with great service and a good variety. We also really enjoyed the pool area, which was well-maintained and peaceful for most of our stay.
One thing to note is that the hotel and surrounding area seem to cater primarily to German tourists, most of which are large groups of men — not a problem at all, just good to know in advance in terms of expectations around language and atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the peaceful vibe shifted toward the end of our trip when a few large groups arrived. It disrupted the calm that the hotel otherwise does a good job of promoting. Some were slightly disrespectful, smoking in the pool and mainly overtaking the whole pool, making it feel awkward to go in and try to relax.
Overall, a lovely hotel and a great stay — just worth checking whether large groups are expected during your visit if you’re looking for a completely relaxing getaway.
