"Unique gorgeous seaside English hotel.
Lovely staff very helpful,friendly and hard workers.
The property is well maintained, clean and just has a lovely vibe to it.
Comfortable bed, modern bathroom
We absolutely loved staying here and so did our nieces."
"Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room, walking distance to sea front one way and main town the other - about 5 minutes.
Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising.

"It’s a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and it’s by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it."
"Best location for hotel in Southend.
Overall an excellent hotel , especially the family room is very good.
The receptionist stored our baggage so we can go out and wonder about as we got there before the 3pm Check-in time.
Also at check out time 12pm they stored our luggage in hotel so we can pick up later which was kind of them."

"Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...
"Nous avions réservé des suites, elles étaient magnifiques, spacieuses, propres et une très bonne literie, biscuits maison dans la chambre, délicieux ! Nous avons dîné sur place d’un excellent fish and chips. Également un bon petit déjeuner. Et du personnel très sympathique !!"
"Nice little pud with very nice staff, rooms could do with a bit of updating but it’s priced for what it is and the breakfast was excellent, staff all very helpful. "
