"The view of the city was the highlight of this room! The staff were super friendly. Check in was smooth and efficient. Self-parking was easy. Rooms were decently sized. Beds are comfortable. Walking distance to the Regency Ballroom. Exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. Will absolutely book again!"

"The majestic hotel is so beautiful! It was clean, safe, and had the lux vibes you want on vacation. I love historic hotels. If you are a fan of Victorian decor and want to experience historic San Francisco architecture this place is for you. First or all, San Francisco neighborhoods can be hit or miss. This is an upscale area. It was clean and I walked around at night as a solo female traveler to park and get food and I felt safe. It was very pretty at night actually. When I first arrived I was absolutely dazzled by the lobby. They have done a meticulous historic renovation. The front desk staff brought my bags to my room. There are free water bottles and coffee in the lobby. The room was beyond beautiful with clean linens and drapes all in a 1900’s style. I loved the clawfoot tub in the bathroom and my room had a big bay window. Overall I had the best stay! And will be coming back!! My cons: Parking is awful. AWFUL. There is no parking at this hotel. They should consider getting a lot partnership and adding a Valet. Because staying at an upscale place and having to drive around forever looking for parking and walking blocks away in heels or waking up at 6am to move your car for street cleaning absolutely kills the vibe. Breakfast was just okay. First off the dining room is gorgeous! The buffet food was 3/5 stars. A server and hot breakfast menu would be nice here. Overall my stay and the old world luxury of this building was a 10/10"

"I had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed what appeared to be blood on multiple surfaces, including the curtains, the TV remote, and the TV stand. This was not only unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint, but also deeply concerning. In addition, the restroom window was broken, which raised serious safety and maintenance concerns. These conditions made it impossible to feel comfortable or secure during my stay. This experience fell far below basic hospitality standards. I strongly urge management to address these serious cleanliness and safety issues immediately to ensure future guests are not subjected to the same conditions."
