A little out of town but still a great location for walking the Camino. The roosters made quite a racket in the morning telling us all it was time to get up and walk.

The hotel like most in these little villages are old. It was on the outskirts of the village. The village was beautiful. Staff very friendly but couldn’t find my booking, tv didn’t work.
Arrived at the Hotel Rosalia around 2 pm but the friendly Receptionist checked us in, room was ready for us tired pilgrims. The Cafe was available anytime for coffee and snacks which we appreciated and the restaurant offered a nice set dinner. Location right across the train station was still ideal for walking into town and quiet at night. I noticed several pilgrims had pre-ordered breakfast to take away, which was a great service for early walkers, but we enjoyed a leisurely and substantial breakfast to get us on our Way.

We stayed at this venue while hiking on the Portuguese Caminha. The staff were friendly & helpful. Our room had a small balcony which faced the Padron Train Station. Trains didn’t run after 2230 hours. Our room was clean & comfortable. It had an unexpected separate sitting area which gave us space to more easily unpack & repack our backpacks. It was a 15 minute walk back to town, although the Hotel has a bar/restaurant. We chose the room & breakfast option. Breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, juice, unprepared fruits, fresh breads and a ham & cheese plate. We’d recommend this hotel to other hikes as it was convenient to the trail.
