The bed was missing a leg in the middle (which I found under the bed and "fixed", but definitely not as a permanent solution) and the floor was slanted. These two things together meant that when lying on the bed, I was slightly folded into a V, with my hips low and my feet higher than my head.

Pathetic room.. Floor was on slope, so all the furniture is titled. Worn out old mattresses. When you book a room outside of house, expectation is to feel comfortable, but it was one of the worst experience ever.

The room was a bit mouldy and smelt musty. The ceiling is so thin you can hear everything in the room directly above which is unfortunate if the people above you start jumping around and moving furniture at 3am. The TV didn't work. The bed was uncomfortable. Check in at 4pm and check out by 11am is a rip off. I wouldn't recommend it and definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Too much reliance on having to have smart phones to receive emails with codes on. To get the key took four attempts on the pad. Key takes moving it about before it opens the door. I prefer to have a person at a reception to help with any problems instead of someone on the end of a email or telephone.

Booked for two days 12th and 13th July the previous day, Did not receive any link until called and checked in the morning of 12th. Even after providing selfies and proofs still no instructions until mid day. called and I was reassured will be sent immediately. Until 10pm on 12th July received nothing. As too late for check in called back and after providing details several times again only finally sent the entering instructions. No explanation. I have requested refund for the first night as it was too late to come for check in after a busy long shift at the hospital. No reply yet . It was very bad experience and worst check in process

Rasa Sayang house is a short walk from Oxford city centre and most of the colleges. The hotel has many amenities and the self check-in worked, you just can’t show up a minute before check-in time.

Convenient location, but could do with improvement

Convenient location, if you're happy with a fully self-service check-in and stay. Room is small, bathroom very small, but both functional enough. Good amenities in the room. Room was overheated, there was a ceiling fan built into the light, but only worked if the light was on, so no way of having the fan on at night while you sleep. Shower was weak, bedside light dim and buzzes.

Unclear instructions for car park meant my car was locked in a private car park overnight. Whilst the carpark owner was very understanding, they pointed out many people get this wrong. Rasa Sayang need to clarify their car park entrance is on the junction with Regent Street. Guest house was very basic and a bit tired; but clean and OK if you want a cheap(ish) bed-sit style accommodation.
