"The hotel room was clean. It was very nice. The bathroom was clean. The staff that we dealt with were very nice. What was not cool was that we chose to stay at this hotel because there was a steakhouse and a coffee house attached with the hotel and that's what sold us. However, both of those are closed. We got no notification about it and there was no discounted rate. Being that Fort Davis is a small town there are not a lot of places to go and for the steak dinner that we thought we were going to get we had to travel to Alpine. However, everything else was okay. Not a lot of food choices there."

"Not the Ritz, but comfortable and reliable! The Antelope Lodge is an older hotel, but it's always clean and comfortable. The hot water works fine (it just takes a minute to warm up), and the A/C is fantastic, which is exactly what you need in the summer when it hits 100 degrees. It’s a nice, quiet spot that gets the job done. To top it off, the staff has always been great to deal with."

"We were just passing through and only stayed one night, but this was such a cute place! The instructions for accessing the property were clear and easy to follow, and there were so many great amenities, including a coffee bar and a game area. It is an older building, so you can hear quite a bit, footsteps, creaking floors, and other sounds. If you’re a light sleeper, that may be something to keep in mind. As a heavy sleeper, though, I didn’t mind at all and actually felt it added to the property’s charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after eleven hours on the road, it was so nice to walk into a room that was already cool and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll definitely plan to come back in the future!"

"Beautiful lobby with original tile work. Artistic fireplace in the lounge area. Quiet and safe place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. The pool was chilly even in June but we attended anyway. The pool area is absolutely lovely. All of the staff were genuinely happy to see us come in and were gracious to us as we signed out."
