"The room itself was clean, which was a bonus. Our room had two TV remotes, which was a bit odd—one was used to turn the TV on/off and control the volume, while the other was used for the guide. Each bed only had two pillows. When I asked if we could get a couple more, the gentleman at the front desk said there were no extra pillows in the hotel, which seemed strange.
The beds were very soft, and the bed frame felt somewhat unstable. The toilet did not flush properly and seemed like it could overflow at any moment.
The staff were friendly and seemed to be as helpful as they could be. That said, I do wish they had been dressed a bit more professionally.
At check-in, the gentleman at the front desk warned us that the pool, which is normally heated, was not heated at the time, but the hot tub was still working. When we got into the hot tub, we noticed a lot of foam on top of the water and it smelled extremely strong of chemicals. One person sitting in the hot tub even said, “I hope I don’t get a chemical burn from this.” While that comment might have sounded dramatic, it honestly didn’t feel far-fetched. Our clothes smelled so strongly of chlorine afterward that we couldn’t get the smell out of them or off our skin.
As mentioned at check-in, the pool was not heated and was extremely cold—very, very cold.
The front door to the hotel also appeared to be broken, which left the lobby freezing.
I also never saw the “terrace” that’s pictured online, nor were we told where it was "
