Excellent contact and responsiveness from staff, easy parking and easy check in, very comfy beds, heat pump was on for our arrival on a winter evening whuch was appreciated. Lovely new bathroom with nice shower.

Good little motel if you need to stay in the area. Easy parking and relatively quiet. Ōtaki township is just down the road and a BP is very close by if you need supplies.

Happy to stay again

Met with a lovely friendly welcome and was especially grateful as was for 2 nights over the Xmas period. Spacious room with lovely bathroom. Loved the patio which was frequented by blackbirds and sparrow and we also saw a Pukeko each day.

A beautiful, bird-filled garden where you could sit and relax with no other buildings in sight. Very comfortable beds, a great night's sleep. A genuine, friendly, and professional prprietor. The best of three motels we stayed this trip, and the least expensive.

This is a great overnight stop off when travelling with dogs. It is a little traffic noisey but then you are not far off the main route for the next day! It is very clean and good walking space for dogs. Town has a few food options and great fish and chips. Meet and greet efficient and we had lovely fresh linen and strong shower!

I’ve stayed many times and this wee motel is a good price. just the right distance from Wellington to make it really to drive straight onto the ferry the following day. Spotlessly clean. with a family of pukeko waiting for food if you like birds.

Lovely hosts, clean and tidy units, comfy beds and excellent bathroom. Stayed one night after getting of the ferry. We were delayed by 4 hours and hosts were accommodating with us arriving very late. Room was warm and milk there for a much needed hot drink.

I stay here often

The owners live on site. It’s little. It’s walk-in/park at door. It’s close to township. It’s walking to food— not hiking —walking!!! It’s an hour from the ferry check-in.
