Being informed of the cancellation less than one hour before our arrival is completely unacceptable and has caused significant disruption. The manner in which this situation has been handled strikes me as highly unprofessional. A cancellation at such short notice, despite prior confirmation and completed check-in, suggests a serious failure in your booking management. It is difficult not to conclude that the hotel may have overbooked and attempted to justify this with an inadequate explanation."

"The hotel is closing this Sept for a two year renovation. Some staff have already left for other city jobs. Both sink and bathtub did not drai well. The room tv was so small it was almost impossible to see. No bar soap provided. Asked for a one hour late checkout and it was granted but almost begging. Good location. Dave in the restaurant was good as well as both doorman. Possible maybe second stay but only after renovation."
