"I had a wonderful stay at Amber Beach Maldives. The staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. The airport shuttle made arrival easy and it was simple to get a taxi anywhere when needed. The location is great with the beach right across the road, perfect for relaxing walks. There are also nearby shops and places to grab ice cream which was really convenient. The rooftop area was amazing with beautiful views. The food was delicious, especially the refreshing fruit salad with ice cream. I also enjoyed the breakfast which offered a nice mix of English and local dishes. Overall it was a great stay."

"The resort was simply fabulous, and the staff really excelled themselves. We had a dedicated person to contact in case we needed anything. We had a Water Villa, which was absolutely fantastic, large room, bath on the deck overlooking the ocean. The Water Villas have the added benefit of access to Riviera Restaurant which was much better than the main buffet restaurant. There is plenty to do on Villa Nautica Paradise Island whether you’re in your 20s or getting on a bit! What was so nice about the Island even at 100% occupancy is that it never feels busy. "

"We had an over water villa that was amazing. The entire resort, it was beautiful. The only thing I would say I would want changed is to have bar service around the pool and ocean."

"The island is smaller than you expect from the pictures and island map and overall it feels outdated. The staff didnt seem very happy, which reflects in the level of service. Im happy we only stayed for three days. Most restaurants have zero ambiance. Only thing top quality and high level of service was the breakfast restaurant female staff (very welcoming) and sea salt restaurant. Quality of food is great in Sea Salt, be sure to book dinner there."

"Great hotel staff. Deluxe beachfront unit was 100 yards from the beach and no view. If you want a partial, you should book the premium. Swimming was marginal as water was 2 feet to 5 feet deep so all the coral is bleached and a low tide could not swim. We thought we were gonna get better than this is more a site issue than a staff hotel issue"

"Our stay was a NIGHTMARE , made worse because we have had no apology from the hotel, verbal , written or compensation for what happened . We booked the Ocean View Suite and indeed on checking in it seems great , however later the bathroom started leaking water and it was the worst sewage smell we have ever smelt , spreading throughout the whole room .. Then at around mid night the power failed in the room , we were worried both about Hygiene and also getting and Electric Shock with the water everywhere in the bathroom. We had to beg to get another room obviously we could not stay there, we could hardly breath the smell was so bad . Initially however the reception staff said there was no other room available , we insisted and then after some calls we were found another room in sister hotel , It took almost to 2am to get sorted in the other room, The other room was tiny and extremely noisy in the front of the hotel and almost on top of a busy road. We didn't sleep. We complained at the time and also afterwards about what happened and also via hotels.com, who has tried non stop to speak with the hotel management , with no success. Management wont answer Hotels.com. You will understand that we would not of expected to pay the full price for the Ocean suite when we never had it and indeed the experience we went though. It is unbelievable we never even had an apology in any form. We strongly suggest you book elsewhere this management does not care about its guests "
