"Overall the hotel is well located, but I had a disappointing experience during my stay. My family and I purchased a whole pizza from Joe’s Pizza nearby because we wanted to try a classic New York pizza together. When we returned to the hotel lobby, we sat down while ordering drinks from the hotel. However, the staff informed us that we were not allowed to eat there because the pizza was from outside. This felt unnecessarily restrictive, especially since we were guests of the hotel and were also purchasing beverages from their bar. In a city like New York, where visitors often explore local food options, a more accommodating approach would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this interaction made the experience feel less welcoming than expected."
