"This was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the family room and paid for breakfast, which was delivered to the room by 8o’clock. It was comprised of breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. Great location to visit Omaha Beach, museums, and the American memorial."

"Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

"Nice property. This old building is a reasonable walking distance to the downtown and the burger place right beside it is 10/10! The four person room was great as the two twin beds are upstairs in a loft area. The kids got their own space to spread out. The beds are hard, but clean. Bathroom was a good size and as expected. Obviously, no AC but they provided fans on each level."

"We had a wonder stay at the Chateau Des Monts during the D Day festivities. The chateau was so peaceful and charming, and the hosts were so warm and friendly. This is one of our top memories of our trip to France."

"Had a nice room with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with some space, which was not our experience elsewhere in France. The downtown area with shops and restaurants was just a short walk from the hotel. In the evening, after dinner in town, my wife and I would sit at a table outside our room, relax and enjoy the cooler temperature. The hotel had a self-serve breakfast buffet that had plenty of cold cuts, fruit, granola, crepes and croissants, but very few hot items. We would warmly recommend...

"Top tier establishment; with friendly staff, exceptional A+ breakfast buffet, super clean facility, exceptionally clean rooms, quiet. stopped off for 2 days, then extended a day on our walk from Dunkirk to Cherbourg. Don’t hesitate to book and don’t listen to any of the negative reviews! Exceptional!!!! (a bar by the people or area for adults only (seperate pool or mini pool), would be an added bonus in the future? :) Keep up the great work!!! Loved it!"

"First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. "Wonderful location, wonderful hosts. Lovely B&B perfectly located away from the D-Day towns and beaches, but only minutes from the important sites by car. My only regret is over-scheduling outside events, we would have preferred more time just enjoying the place. We WILL be back!"
