"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"The indoor pool was quite small and tended to be very busy with children, so it wasn’t the most relaxing experience. However, the room itself was spacious and very comfortable, with Molton Brown toiletries provided, and having a bath in the room was a lovely touch. The cooked breakfast was also excellent and really enjoyable each morning. That said, I do think the property could benefit from some general maintenance and updating in certain areas."

"The Owners and staff were lovely, Lynn was so helpful and went out of her way. Lynn, Ruby and the handsome Joe was a delight to talk to. Very welcoming and up for a chat, great company when feeling lonely or just want to socialize. The bedroom felt relaxing and the curtians were great at keeping out the cold. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The place is within a walking distance from the train station about a minute at most. Food is not allowed in the bedrooms just as a heads up and...

"Excellent check in with friendly staff. The room was mostly clean just a little unclean under the sink in the bathroom on the tiles in room 109. The bathroom flooded when using the shower and this was not just me as the wood on the bottom of the door was expended so suggests is a normal practice. The bathroom also had a wire attached to the radiator above the bath that did not look well covered. So no issues with the room but bathroom needs some love overall. Great facilities - we used the sauna...
