"The window in the room is frosted which IMO is absurd, especially in a place as beautiful as CR. I asked for a different room and was told all the rooms have just one window that is completely frosted. I don't mind a small room, but a small room without an actual window isn't tolerable for me. "We were blown away by the view. Everyone we interacted with, from the owner (talking through the doorbell camera outside the gate), to the owner's friends who came by, to the staff who made the breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed here for one night just to be closer to the airport since we were coming from Nosara. It was worth the slight detour rather than staying at the airport hotel. "This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked."
