"The room was far too small. We were headed for the airport in the morning and had to sort our luggage, almost no floor space to do so. We weren't told the room was on the second floor, there were no lifts. We're in our 70's, so it was a struggle. We didn't have time for breakfast, so made ourselves a coffee. No milk of any kind in room or kitchen. The toilet didn't flush week and tap dripped. We felt that we were enticed by the "castle", but there was no castle to view, and we were...

"Interesting property. I stayed in one of the wings of the main house on the 1st floor. The room was fine (the artwork in the wings and bedrooms was very incongruent to the grandeur of the main house…), pillows were really thin, and they felt a bit dated but comfortable. The windows were really small. The main section of the house/public spaces were beautiful. One thing I found odd were the number of influencers there making content, perhaps for the new spa?"

"Overall, it is a nice hotel but we had some challenges with the amenities. It offered A/C which was a rare treat, but it only worked in one of the two rooms. We were excited to see ice machines, but couldn’t find one that worked. The tvs only got 7 channels and we had to call the office to get the room next to us to quiet down after being repeatedly woken up. The food and and drink at the restaurant were good and the place was clean and people friendly, but we were disappointed."

"Our stay was amazing - the food was so delicious. We would highly recommend this place to stay while you visit Ireland - perfect driving distance to Dublin.
They were also very helpful in letting us know things to see while in the area but also when we left headed to Limerick gave us excellent things to see on the way.
The owner and staff went over and above 😁👍"
