"An Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Vineyard Haven Motel! 🌊☀️
Our company recently had a 3-day event on Martha’s Vineyard, and our stay at Vineyard Haven Motel was truly one of the highlights of the trip!
The motel proudly advertises itself as the “Only Private Beach Motel” on the Island—and it absolutely did not disappoint! Every morning, we watched the staff meticulously groom the sand and keep the private beach looking beautiful. The water was incredibly warm, and we took full advantage of it with some fantastic swims and plenty of time enjoying the beach.
Our room was another highlight. We had a beautiful view overlooking the marina and all of the boats, which made waking up each morning such a pleasure. The décor had the perfect beachy feel and was very thoughtfully designed. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with air conditioning, a microwave, small refrigerator with freezer, and coffee maker—everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
We also have to give a special shout-out to Spencer and Nessa at the front desk! Both were incredibly friendly, welcoming, hospitable, and accommodating. Their genuine kindness and willingness to help made our experience even better.
After such a fantastic stay, we will definitely be returning to Vineyard Haven Motel the next time we’re on Martha’s Vineyard.
We couldn’t give this place a higher recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"The indoor pool looked dirty.
Breakfast should have been restocked as fresh fruit ran out within 30 minutes and was not replenished. Therefore, we ended up eating breakfast out"
"We LOVED our stay at Faraway - the pool was amazing, staff was super helpful. They had a very convenient messaging system for requests. The staff recommended the Pelican Club for dinner, which is basically right on-site, but we tried to get in multiple times and there was always a wait! The food at their snack bar was really good for lunch. The location was incredible - it was our first time in Martha's Vineyard and we feel we got so spoiled!!"
"Overall our stay was really great and I would come back again. The staff was great and helpful! The bathroom is really the only place that I didn’t ’like’. We stayed in an airstream and it just could have been a little cleaner. I understand we are ‘camping’ but the windows in the bathroom were pretty gross. They definitely could have used a good wipe down from the inside to clear the dead bugs and debris. It wasn’t a huge issue and I didn’t even bring it up to the staff just something I noticed. The air condition worked great which was a huge plus bc it was definitely hot while we were there. The outdoor area was so fun! The surrounding bushes were flowering were attracted a TON of bees. The bees pretty much kept to the bushes but they were RIGHT next to the camper and the outdoor area. One bush easily had over a dozen bees in it at one point. Glad I’m not allergic to them!! It really was a great experience and I am glad we went and had fun!"
