"The staff were all friendly and helpful. We arrived about lunchtime and were able to check in early. The room was absolutely fine and had a good number of coat hangers. Breakfast was good. We liked the location because we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We used the historic tram one day which stops about a 5 minute walk from the hotel."

"Large, spacious room facing the river and the castle could not have been better. Double insulated glass kept it a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Easy walking to the bars and restaurants of the Old Town but also easy access to the shops of New Town. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was meticulously cleaned each day. Would be my 1st choice again when we return."

"Really liked the location and our room was upgraded which was also very nice. Housekeeping did not observe the do not disturb sign several times in our 3 night stay. I would recommend putting the lock on the inside of the door to prevent their entry while you are still in the room."
