Beautiful location, great restaurant

We spent 3 nights at Langi Langi and were very satisfied. The hotel is beautifully located on the beach, with direct beach access. Amazing views. The restaurant offers several different breakfast alternatives and great dishes for lunch and dinner. Overall a great stay in Langi Langi!

Fantastic beachfront location. Building is a little tired however this is Africa .fantastic pool set in beautiful tropical gardens. Great location for access to beach,restaurants and shopping. Had an excellent stay with all the staff being polite and attentive. No complaints.

Unbelievable ocean views just steps down from the property! Every seat in the dining area has a spectacular ocean view. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The pool is clean, refreshing, and offers sun or shade options in a tranquil setting.

Defo recommend for young travelers

This hotel is amazing as 2 young girls travelling we felt very safe here with security and very friendly staff l, the owner of the hotel is always around and aways happy to help , we booked trips with there support and he very mindful of your safety. Breakfast was amazing and good choice. Location is great right on the beach front with restaurant around and good beaches

Langi langi hat richtig Swahili Einheimischen Vibe

Great place, most friendly people all staff is like family. Much recommended 👌. Food is also excellent, and you get the most beautiful sunset on their terrace.

I almost cancelled this booking after reading negative reviews but to be honest it was fine. It is definitely not luxury and is. Certainly an older property maybe in need of some updating but for us it was just fine. Room was clean, ocean views from our room, pool was nice and breakfast was also nice with a wide range of choice. Didn’t have dinner here, but there looked to be a large range of food on offer. We had a nice stay.

Disappointment in a dated facility

We had booked this hotel as the final leg of our Safari in mainland Tanzania. Expectations were high in line with the rest of our trip, only the reality was different. Nungwi beach resort has seen its best days. Structure is dated, rooms are old, creaky fans and leaky aircons remind you of times past. If you are used to hostels and looking to upgrade, then this could fit the bill. The staff are nice enough though and they tried to make amends. We checked out after two nights as it was not what we thought we had booked and paid for. The managers would not entertain refunding any part of the costs despite things just not being what they looked like on the photos. If you are looking for a clean, cozy place to stay, we’d suggest to look further.

Nice Hotel very good value

We stayed for 16 Nights. Very nice hotel and restaurant, great staff in perfect location and very good value for money . Hotel room was good, and although OK would benefit from a better matress and some electric sockets did not work properly but not a real issue.

I booked a “sea view” room, it was rather dull and not what we expect to see with sea view. Iron bars in the window (yes, jail), before the sea were 4 layers: restaurant, a passage way, large bush, a terrace used for smoking. Not acceptable. Cleanliness was the highlight. Not recommendable.

L’hôtel est sans plus à part La proximité avec les restaurants tout à 5 minutes à pieds au bord de la plage mes préférable de marcher 10 minutes à pied trouver l’endroit idéal pour si baigner la piscine est propre mais le buffet et éclater au sol pas de goût fade un cake pour 40 inadmissible les jus pas frais y’a que la vue qui est magnifique

Märkligt att ett Hotel inte tar kort. Wifi så långsamt att det var oanvändbart Pinkod till safe fungerade inte så man fick en nyckel som man lämnade till receptionen, kändes inte helt tryggt.

Väldigt bra läge på hotellet med magisk utsikt från rummen som är sviter! Hade bra med varmvatten alla dagar förutom en kväll, internet väldigt dåligt på rummen men fungerade ok vid terrassen och restaurangen. Personalen trevliga och försökte rätta till de ”fel” som dök upp eller de förfrågningar som vi hade. Skulle lätt komma tillbaka igen.

Rummet i sig var ganska mörkt och tråkigt men helt okej. Trädgården utanför däremot var väldigt vacker och avkopplande och med en bra pool. Hotellet har även access till stranden men inga solstolar på stranden. Dessa var istället uppe på en pir tillsammans med restaurangen. Fin utsikt från restaurangen. Hotellet erbjöd mycket bra städning varje dag. Det bästa med hotellet var läget mitt inne bland Nungwis nattliv.
