"The hotel is beautiful, new and meticulously maintained. The rooms a large and very comfortable. THE POOL is the most beautiful pool I have ever seen and enjoyed, and I have seen a lot of them in my trips. The staff is perfect! They even game a bouquet of flowers on Mother’s Day!!! If there is one thing I would like to have is a TV in the room. There is not much to do in Nosara except surfing and for those of us who don’t surf nor are on vacation, it can get bit tedious. Either that, or a place...

"The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!"

"The pool was beautiful, and central to all the rooms. We loved hearing the monkeys, cicadas and birds all day and night. We really felt like we were in the jungle, yet also bear all the action. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!"

"The ocean views were amazing! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. We had a small issue with our room (no fault of the hotel) and the manager quickly offered us an upgrade to a beautiful suite. There is access via a walking path to two separate beaches, and many dining options nearby (Guiones is a short 15 minute walk down the beach for more options). Overall a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the ocean, the sun, and the spectacular...
