"The location is amazing but the hotel itself was okay. We arrived 5 weeks into a country wide strike of hotel workers. This was not made clear to us at any point prior to our check in via email or alternative communication. We were told at the time of check in that we would get irregular room cleaning based on housing staff availability. We were caught off guard but since we already were there we weren't going to cancel our room. Since we were told there would be inconsistent room cleaning we decided to prioritize the middle of our trip to refresh the room. The front desk gentleman said he'll make a note and ask the housekeeping staff. It was not cleaned that day. We then followed up in the evening and were told that there would be no housecleaning at all during our stay. Eventually one of the front desk staff was courtesy enough to offer to refresh our room herself. She went above and beyond and we are appreciative of her efforts. However being misled at the time of check in and then 1-2 days into our stay to be told differently about cleaning offerings left a sour taste for our stay. If we knew there was no housekeeping we would have opted for an airbnb instead. Other issues - the room AC were warm despite being at the coldest settings. The rooms are very cramped. All of their base rooms are listed at 161 square feet. Which is basically 1 queen sized bed + barely enough room for two check in bags open on the floor."

"Had a great room with a city view. Construction work going on next door but the double glazing helped enormously. Room clean was generally good but came too late in the day. Requested an earlier clean. Enjoyed the piano player in the lobby. No bar service due to strike. Concierge often not available. Overall, well located and would return. Gep, Melbourne"

"We loved this Hotel. It is not for you if you are looking for fancy or even 3 star amenitues but the soft spring coil mattress with foam topper was comfortable. The duvet and pillows were excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere is hip and the whole place is geared toward longer stays. And the location is perfect. 15 min walk to the oslofjord(waterfront) and closer to other key sites. Very walkable area of the city. They are working hard at environmental sustainability. The back side of the hotel has a view of the city but it is in the centre of the Oslo nightclub scene so weekends are noisy if your window is open. However you really feel part of the energy of the city."

"Small and bad. Sheets unclean, had to make your own bed, only one towel for a two person booking, dirty walls, light flickering lights that needed changing, elevator and self check in did not work or had problems, not vey “smart” at all…good luck if your on the top floor, could be going up and down dropping other guests off before elevator isn’t in use/ needed….our room looked completely different to photos (box room) which is not “sound deadening”. Extremely hot hotel, heating on high! Price state was a variation bit of a con, twice the price we were expected after add ons , booking fees, breakfast. Could have something a lot nicer for the price! Ran down needs maintenance! Would not recommend!"

"Dinner option was just a terrible buffet only at a very high cost. Staff didn’t give info that guests can walk out to eat at the airport restaurants accessible without requiring a boarding pass. No water bottles in the room. No creamer for coffee or tea. No one to help with luggage. Worst hotel."
