"Great stay at the Dun Cow Inn. Just what we needed after our wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel. About 15 min walk from there. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and big and the full English was freshly made and nice and hot. Good amount of parking and all at a decent price. Staff were courteous and friendly. So yep excellent and would stay again if in the area. "

"Room was really good and comfortable. Overlooked car park. Excellent bath/shower room. Didnt have evening meal as hotel had hen or stag party booked in. Also as I have limited appetite choice was restricted. Overall would certainly recommend staying here also dog friendly so daughters family could bring their dog and all atebrsakfast together"

"A perfect base for a seven day exploration of the Yorkshire Dales. Brilliant to arrive back each day knowing we had off street private parking and secure WiFi for business needs and walking distance to a selection of eatery’s for dinner. Of course each day commenced with an a la carte breakfast menu, set in a dining room with beautiful white linen tablecloths and a most gracious hostess. All staff went above and beyond to cater for our requirements. Thank you. "

"Fantastic public house which serves great food. There is not much to do in the surrounding Area but its a great place to meet up with friends or family and dine together. Rooms are failrly reasonably priced and clean. Shame there isnt an option for breakfast."

"The Old Coach House is absolutely excellent. Our room was spacious, had everything we could want and all of a very high quality. It was warm, comfy and looked great too, with huge original wooden beams, large luxurious armchairs and tasteful decor. The breakfasts were super too; lots of choice and tasty fresh fruit like berries or pineapple and choice of juices. Home made granola pots featured if you wanted a luxury treat. "Wonderful stay, the food is pricey but excellent . Rooms spacious and very well appointed. Breakfast lovely, good quality local produce. Staff were all friendly and lovely. Definitely recommended."

Only found out, from another guest, how to get back in the front door using the key fob. The same, l heard from another guest who had heard from another guest, about being able/aloud to use the fridge in the kitchen for storage "

"1. Getting difficult to.find the exact location of property, its helpful if mentioned the building name. 2.Whole night struggled to run the heating but didnt work survived without heating. 3. Wifi id provided not available in the premises. "
