"The room was amazing, lots of space, very comfortable bed, the bathroom was huge but the shower was a little uncomfortable, but the staff told me that the air conditioning was working and it wasn’t and those two days were really hot in Milan! 😕"

"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel in Milan. First, the room was advertised as having air conditioning, but when I checked in, it wasn’t working at all. Instead, there was only a fan. When I contacted reception, I received inconsistent explanations—first they said it couldn’t be fixed, then they claimed it was “by law” in Milan, and later they said they would try to help after a couple of days. This was frustrating and unclear. Eventually, they offered to move me to another room. While the new room was larger, it created new issues. It appeared to be an accessible (disability-adapted) room, which made the layout uncomfortable for my needs. The bathroom setup was awkward, the TV was not in the main sleeping area, and most importantly, there was a complete lack of privacy due to a window without curtains—anyone outside could see in, especially near the bathroom area. Another major issue is that this property is actually a mixed-use campus, not a typical hotel. Only a small part of the building is used as a hotel, while the majority is student accommodation. This creates a very noisy and chaotic environment. Large groups of students gather in the open common areas, especially late at night, watching matches and TV at high volume and talking loudly even at 1–2 AM. It was extremely disruptive and made it very difficult to rest. This setup is simply not suitable for a hotel stay. I need to write more but there is no space."

"Great hotel in a great location. Easy to walk to/from Milan Central Station as well as the centre of Milan and its tourist attractions. Hotel was very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and the drinks at the hotel bar were very reasonable. Would definitely stay again."

"The service was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean, but the corridors and the restrooms by the lobby were not as clean. The TV was broken and the emergency light at the room was low on batteries, flashing constantly. Unable to sleep well. Tried to contact the front desk by phone but it seemed impossible. The cleanliness of the room was optimal, and the proximity to eateries, etc., was extremely ideal."

"Cosmo Hotel Palace from 14-16th April 2026. Overall experience was disappointing. Lifts were extremely slow, 2 out of 3 not working, causing major disruption, especially while travelling with two young children. Service at checkout was also poor, requested help with luggage but was left to manage eight bags and a stroller alone. From outside building looks good, lobby looks good but the rooms are dated and smelly. For a hotel of this level, the experience felt unprofessional and below expected standards. I spoke to hotel for a potential refund and they straight away refused."
