"I booked a Studio King Lake View Room, and the room was much larger then I expected. Not much in the way of amenities but that's not an issue if you use it as a base to explore Ninh Binh. Just beware that if your are a light sleeper or like to turn in early that the noise from across the road along the walking street can get loud during the weekend evenings but it does get quiet after the stalls close up at 10 o'clock. But the upside to that is there is plenty food and drink right across the road from the hotel, with more on the otherside of the lake. "

"Our hotel experience didn’t start off great. After 9 hours of travel, we arrived really excited,mainly because we had booked this resort for the rooftop pool. Unfortunately, we were told on arrival that the pool would be closed for 10 days, which was a big disappointment, especially considering the price we paid. It would have been helpful if this had been clearly stated on Expedia beforehand. When we first entered our room, it was quite unpleasant. There was a strong damp smell, and the bed and chair were actually wet to sit on. The bathroom was also dirty and smelled bad. I contacted reception right away, and to their credit, they handled it well,meeting us downstairs and moving us to a room in another building, which was much better. The location isn’t ideal as it’s quite far from most things, but we rented a scooter for 250, which made getting around easier. Despite the rocky start, the hotel staff were absolutely amazing,from reception to the servers and cleaning team. They really made a difference to our stay. The breakfast buffet was average,not the best we’ve had, but not the worst either. I did contact Expedia and received a small credit, which didn’t feel entirely fair given the situation with the pool. However, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite, which was fantastic and greatly appreciated. A special mention to Linh (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly) he was incredible. It honestly felt like he never stopped working and always went above and beyond. Thank you"

"Very clean in all areas. Staff was eager to help with whatever was needed. Manager was available to assist his team at all times. We even saw him working the breakfast buffet! Nice to see him helping his team. I’m sure they appreciate that. All in all a great place to stay and we loved the room! Very modern. "

"The hotel is a short walk from the main drag with lots more dining options and sights but despite this, it is a lovely hotel with kind and accommodating staff. Our room was crazy spacious and bright, and had a lovely private deck. The breakfast buffet was diverse and filling. The area was quiet and felt very safe."
