"Very expensive horrible breakfast but most importantly it was very clean"

"Hotel was clean but dated. The power outlets in the room did not work. The front desk advised that there was nobody available to fix the issue and that there were no rooms available to move us to. The TV controller worked but was split in half. The shampoo was empty in the shower."

"A charming Inn to stay and enjoy all that passes by in Lock 7. Hskp staff very attentive and don’t miss a thing. Room 25 on 3rd floor is not perfect for photography as the neighbouring tree blocks a full shot of the ship in the lock. Balconies are a real plus and very clean! The chairs at the table are getting tired and should be replaced. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Make sure you visit the quaint town of Thorold. Lots of cafes and shops to enjoy within walking distance!"

"The room was a place to stay for a night. The bed was comfortable enough, there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The clerk was pleasant. It was a no frills stay and that’s fine for the price. Only thing that might bother some is the a/c was noisy. It didn’t bother me."

"I didn't think paying a damage deposit was necessary. I say this because there have been times when I never got a property would keep the deposit rather than paying it back."

"The property has older rooms that look like they are from the late 80's\early 90's and hasn't been updated. They are a bit dusty as my wife started sneezing as we got in. The room had spots where there were dust stuck to the walls. Besides that the room was ok. For the payments part, I thought everything was done through expedia but they brought up a "Resort fee" and wanted me to pay $5+Tax and I noticed a property fee was charged by expedia! then they told they will take it off and I wanted a...

"I am disappointed with my recent stay. The room did not match the photos shown online, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. The wash basin had yellow stains, and the couch bedsheet had visible stains and marks. I have photographs of these issues and can provide them if required. Given the poor condition of the room and the difference between the advertised and actual accommodation, I believe the stay did not provide value for money."
