"We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok."

"Vickie was so welcoming and very helpful, going out of her way to sort out our parking. The property is beautiful, comfortable and cosy and immaculate. Just a short walk into Penrith’s centre and all the pubs and shopping. Just up the road is an M&S food hall. I would love to stay here anytime."

"Staying at this hotel was a last minute thing due to a mix up at our original booking and I have to say it was a godsend! We arrived 45 minutes after booking and were welcomed by friendly staff and a very clean room. The location was great and we went on a bike ride around the very quaint village and down by the river. I would definitely stay here again as it’s a great village hotel with great staff."

"The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of."
