Room was great. Plenty of room for two people and family and kids to visit who were also staying at the hotel. Bed was very comfortable. I loved that the pool had space to swim laps and that half of the pool was covered so I could stay out of the sun. Very friendly staff both at the front desk and at the restaurant. Breakfast that we paid extra for was very large and tasty. The location was close to restaurants, an airport and close to other beach sites both in newport and in laguna.

I really liked our room. It had a separate sleeping area from the living room and common area. The shower/toilet area was on the other side of the bedroom so you couldn't really hear anything in there which was nice for sleeping. The only issue I had was that I expected a "Bay View" because that is what I booked on Expedia but when I checked in I got a "Partial Bay View"....Other then that, the property was really nice.

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Our large family was in town for a college graduation and we all stayed with you. Wonderful place to meet, visit and enjoy! Rooms were spacious, very clean and very comfortable!! Breakfast was outstanding, parking was close and safe and staff met our every need!!

Breakfast was good, but don't prepay unless you want the buffet. Just order off the menu. I called before arriving to find out if there was a robe/slippers in my suite. Was told no, packed both, both were in the room. Not thrilled with staff not knowing room amenities. I'm a platinum expedia member and booked a bayview suite and got the lowest and worst floor in the hotel. No upgraded even though the hotel was not full. Floor 3 of 9. Not impressed. I had more view of the roof below and it was also so close to the pool it was incredibly loud. The rooms are DATED. Staff was fine, housekeeping good, bartender at pool good.

My husband tripped on the curb and fell requiring a visit to the ER. I would like the curb reduced to a gentle slop to reduce risks of tripping. Staff was very kind and helpful calling for medical assistance.

The check-in and waitstaff were very kind and accomodating. The room was exactly as described. There was not a breakfast buffet as described on Expedia and there was not a pool bar as described on the website which was disappointing. Lastly, the photos do a great job of hiding how close to the freeway the pool is. I wish I would have looked at an overhead map before booking.
