"We have stayed here a few times but as it was my husband’s birthday we upgraded to a suite and it was wonderful. Really big room with a lovely bathroom with twin sinks, a super bath and large seperate shower. Nice toiletries and large bath sheets too. The bed was very big and comfortable. Best of all was the balcony out onto the roof and behind the chinmey stack where it was great to sit in the sun in complete privacy with a cup of tea or a drink. The hotel was in a great location and we really appreciated the fact that the lift went down to the quayside as we had a pram with us so the steps would’ve been very difficult. "Great quayside hotel - we stayed on a Sunday night and was good value with breakfast, a free drink and free parking included. Car park right beside the hotel (underneath in fact). We had a club room with great view over the Tyne. Stayed there to see Fontaines DC play in Exhibition park and hotel was an easy walk back through Newcastle city centre afterwards. Worked out cheaper than the Travelodge!"

"Hotel is situated behind the railway station and overlooking the Tyne so although not central it is still a good location. Easy parking, (use level 10) good pool and steam room, rooms spacious, good gin bar and full breakfast. Only stayed one night but would definitely recommend it. Shops, quayside, football, arena, restaurants all within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Easy access in and out of Newcastle west using the Redheuth bridge from A1. "
