Our air conditioner did not work. We called the front desk and they sent out a guy look at it. He came back stating it was fixed. We slept in sweat as it didn’t get fixed and sweated the next night as well. We tried to stay away from the hotel as much a possible due to these issues.

Run down. Very old worn out rooms. Tattered carpets and towels. Requires a complete refurb. Avoid this hotel. Rooms are like a youth hostel standard.

Considering this is the most expensive city in the world, this hotel is not so bad for the price (I booked 6 months in advance for Easter weekend). The lobby, hallways and room were all clean. Every staff member we interacted with was A1. Room was made everyday (unexpected since a lot of hotels are cutting on that). A few loose screws (shower head, faucet) but nothing a maintenance man can't handle in a few minutes and it certainly didn't prevent us from using them. Wifi is below average - this needs improvement ASAP.

Very convenient for visiting the major sights in Manhattan. It was very clean and the bed and linens were nice. The staff were friendly and helpful .The room was spacious but spartan. The bathroom sink is miniscule. There was no on-site restaurant for breakfast but several very close by. I would definitely stay there again.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this little boutique hotel! It gives a very European feel from the lobby to the rooms. It’s conveniently located near shopping, dining, Central Park, and only a short walk to Times Square/Broadway. Our room was clean and very cozy. We lucked out finding Shoreham Hotel!

Arrived at 2 am. Heat was not working the first night. Complained to the front desk first thing in the morning. They had a maintenance person come over who said we should’ve set the fan to on instead of auto (it was still set to heat so it did not make sense but we followed his advice) Left for the day without changing the setting and came back late at night to a cold room. Froze for two nights.

Great staff! Very helpful no matter what time of day we asked for assistance. Our room was a nice size and quiet. Rooms need a refresh but lobby and restaurant were beautiful. Great snack selection and fresh coffee available each morning.

I reserved three rooms, one for my husband and me, one for my sister and her husband, and one for my father. My dad had to change rooms twice after checking in - the first one had no working TV and the second had no phone. My sister's room had issues with the toilet. My husband's and my room was fine, but the mattress was way soft (not great for people with back problems.) Many of the TV channels had snow and there was also a cold air draft (in sub-freezing weather). However, the shower was great - excellent water pressure and very hot water. The housekeeping staff changed all the towels every time they cleaned. The front desk staff was helpful - we were allowed a late checkout for no extra fee. The location is good if you want to be in that part of Manhattan.

It is a no frills hotel. You have to ask for an ice bucket and plastic cups at the service desk every day. There is one ice machine and it is on the first floor. The rooms are very small and some of the bathrooms are very small.It was clean and in a good location,but for the price it just right to sleep in at night and be gone all day

Customer service is terrible. The hotel messed up on my payment situation - inaccurate card number charged and missing security deposit credit on to my correct payment account. It's been over two weeks that I am dealing with this situation with no clear direct on getting me connect to the right person/resource to resolve this issue.

Feels like the comfort of home
The staff was superb! Extremely welcoming and helpful, from the front desk with Marissa to the belman helping with luggage and my coffee barista who would make me a fresh pot of coffee that I liked. Absolutely enjoyed my stay due to their superior care and friendliness. Highly recommend.

Super convenient location reasonably priced. basic small rooms but that was ok, it was all we needed. Clean, nice staff and service. Would stay again.
