From the moment we arrived at the Melrose Mansion, we were greeted by Mike who accommodated our early check-in request. This is our second time staying here and the rooms and facilities are always clean. If you want to stay in a beautiful hotel located at a great location (near Frenchman St./Bourbon St.), I highly recommend the Melrose Mansion!

The only complaint I had was the windows that open up to the balconys do not stay open, they had to be propped up by a bar stool. And the TV in the living room was very small and did not work and the one in the bedroom was very small. Other then that everything about the plave from the service to the room to the location was perfect!

Great location, the place feels more like home compared to traditional hotels. You are within walking distance to any attraction ( Caesar Superdome, French quarter, Jackson square) The managers were extremely nice, informative and always available to satisfy any requests. The room was underwhelming and not as advertised. Dissapointingly bare and lacked the advertised view. A let down -- sparse furnishings and misleading photos -- we definitely did not have the seperate seating area.
