I paid 2 breakfast when I booked. They don’t give me breakfast and charges me $50 for the first day. I don’t eat any breakfast. The front desk said it’s not charged on my invoice. I ask for the invoice they said they don’t have to provided. Service is very bad. And valet parking is $40 per day.
The stay was alright, not great. I asked for extra towels that never arrived, the Starbucks in the lobby wasn't open for any of the days of the stay, we were woken in the morning by a false fire alarm, and the street noise was so loud at night that we had trouble sleeping. The quiet hours were listed to be 10 PM to 9 AM, but construction started at 7 AM on the floor above our room, so we got to listen to someone sawing into either a wall or a tub at the break of dawn. The email requesting feedback about our stay asked how us to rate the breakfast, but breakfast was never served. The only positives were the valet staff being courteous and efficient, and the front desk staff upon check-in and check-out.
The staff were all fabulous! However for spending almost $300 on a room for one night you'd expect not to find pubes in the shower. The room definitely needed a better clean but we didn't complain because we were only staying one night. The room reminded me of a mid level hotel anywhere that wasnt a tourist destination that you'd pay 80 dollars for but common areas of the hotel were beautiful. It was convenient in location and only a few blocks from the port. Something that isnt posted when booked on expedia is that the also charge you for valet parking and you're not allowed to park yourself, so budget another $40 for that.
