"Horses for courses really. Very highly rated by others - walkers and wine buffs, perhaps - but it wasn’t for us. The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. "we hadden de Ferienwohnung (er zijn ook nog kamers). Heel ruim appartement, prima voorzien van alle gemakken, een balzaal van een badkamer en uitstekende bedden in een ruime slaapkamer. Ontbijt apart bestellen, maar ook dat was prima verzorgd. Schoon, vlakbij de Moezel, op 20 minuten rijden van Wittlich, waar je de trein kunt pakken naar Koblenz of Trier. Kortom: bijna perfect! Enige minpunt voor goed-horenden: het huis resp. de slaapkamer ligt vlakbij de doorgaande weg, dus vooral 's ochtends...

"Sehr gut gelegen. Zu Fuß kann man wunderbar den Ort erkunden. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung. Man ist sehr schnell in Bernkastel-Kues, Traben Trabach, etc. Wir als Hundebesitzer wurden herzlich aufgenommen und man hat schöne Möglichkeiten, mit dem Hund zu laufen. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert."

"Wir haben mit Freunden in Wochenende an der Mosel verbracht und sind auf das Gästehaus Kiebel gestoßen. Es ist ein sehr schönes, uriges Anwesen. Die Zimmer für die Gäste sind sehr modern eingerichtet, hell und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Das Frühstück wurde in Büffetform angerichtet.
